The Sint Nicolaashoeve is situated 300 meters from the idealic village of Nieuwveen. After a short walk over the dyke you are at the village square with its supermarket, bakery, butcher, cycle shop (with cycle hire), village cafe, snackbar and pizzeria. On 2 kilometres from our farm is a golf course with a good restaurant.
Nieuwveen is part of the borough of Nieuwkoop known for its unique lakes. The low lakeland offers special nature, rest and space with many opportunities for recreation on the water and around the Nieuwkoopse Plassen, also named “Amsterdam Lakes”.
